Release Candidate

The current release candidate of Eucalyptus, version 1.6.2-rc1 and the current release candidate of Euca2ools, version 1.2-rc1, can be installed from source or as binary distribution-specific packages (CentOS, Debian, and openSUSE).

WARNING: The RCs are intended for beta testers who are willing to try out recently developed software, which is still in the process of being field tested and documented. In addition, we do not recommend upgrading your production Eucalyptus installation to this release candidate, as upgrades are only supported between released versions of the software.
