Welcome to the Eucalyptus Community Website, the meeting place for users and developers of the open-source Eucalyptus cloud-computing platform! We expect to be constantly making changes to this site with the goal of making it easier to use, so if you can think of anything the site needs or lacks, please do not hesitate to let us know. We value your expertise. Ultimately we hope that through collaboration we can make this site a valuable resource not only for those working with Eucalyptus, but anyone interested in cloud computing.

There are many ways to participate in the Eucalyptus Open Source Community.
The Eucalyptus Community Cloud (ECC) is a sandbox environment where community members can test drive and experiment with Eucalyptus. Check out our Community Cloud page for instructions on how to sign up, SLA and more information on the ECC. The ECC is usually running the latest stable Eucalyptus code and is a good show case of what Eucalyptus can do: are you ready for a test drive?
We have updated our forums with new categories and will be adding more categories soon, including a dedicated forum for the Eucalyptus Public Cloud.
At present, these are the forum we offer:
Sometimes you need more than what's in the manual. The community wiki is a place where community members can help each other advance their Eucalyptus knowledge by addressing issues beyond the scope of our documentation. We encourage you to share your expertise and creativity with our community by contributing new wiki documents or improving existing ones.
When time permits, you may find some of us on IRC on irc.freenode.net at the #eucalyptus channel.
Please look our issue tracking page for how to report bugs, asks for feature requests or to contact us for security issues.
Do you know of a client tool that works with Eucalyptus? Did you write a client tool that works with Eucalyptus? Or you simply hate the command line tools and are looking for something different? Then the ToolsEcoSystem page is what you are looking for.
As highlighted above, there are many ways to participate in our community. If you are the type that not only wants to identify bugs, but also fix them (or if you want to incorporate code documentation) then we welcome you as a code contributor. Please check out our Developer's corner where you can find various information related to Eucalyptus code. We also encourage you to file a Contributor Agreement.
We are always open to your feedback via our community forums, wiki, email, or any mechanism that works for you. We appreciate your contributions and look forward to hearing from you!
