Hi guyz
We installed a cloud controller in one system and node controller in another system..
When we checked the /var/log/registration.log it returned 0 for SC,CC,NC...But its returning 1 for Walrus..
Do you have any ideas?
Greets,

Hi,
Can you provide more info.
a) How did you install?
b) Packages from repository or source code?
c) What is the Linux distribution? Hypervisor?
d) What command gave you error?
e) How you registered?
Cheers,
Deependra
I installed by UEC CD ubuntu 10.04 Server...It has built in hypervisor(KVM)...
I didnt register...
Actually the during CD installation for cloud controller it shows 1) Cloud controller
2) Cluster Controller
3) Storage controller
It doesnt showing Walrus Storage device...
Note:
The system is connected in LAN network ..The network has another cloud setup(Ubuntu enterprise cloud 10.04 Server Eucalyptus )...Is my new cloud is accesing the walrus of another cloud in the network?...
Not sure can you tell the output of following:
euca_conf --list-walruses
euca_conf --list-clusters
euca_conf --list-scs
euca_conf --list-nodes
on the new cloud ?
We solved the problem..
We just installed the Ubuntu Enterprise cloud 10.04 in the system by detaching it out from the the LAN network..
It showed a all components ... we installed and registered all the components successfully...
I think the walrus is not installed because of the reason it detected the WALRUS of Another cloud in the same network...
Thanks for ur response jeevanullas..
Cheers :-)
Glad to hear that you were able to solve your problem.
