With the release of the new Elastic Block Store Amazon made a slight
change in the EC2 client-side tools that are available in the default
download location. These latest tools do not work with the current
release of Eucalyptus. We understand the problem and are currently
rolling out a compatible release, but it will take a couple of days
to go through our build-and-test cycle.

In the meantime, the previous version of the EC2 tools (that works
both with the current Eucalyptus release and with EC2 modulo EBS
support) is available from Amazon at

If you are having trouble and you need functionality before we get a
compatibility release out, please contact us directly and we'll do our best to help.
