Greetings,

When posting a support question, please make sure that you list the following:

  • Eucalyptus version.[/*:m]
  • Whether you installed from source or used a package (please provide the name of the package).[/*:m]
  • Distribution and architecture.[/*:m]
  • Hypervisor type.[/*:m]
  • Topology (number of hosts, how they are configured, etc).[/*:m]
  • Networking mode (SYSTEM, STATIC or MANAGED).[/*:m]
  • Anything else specific to the problem.[/*:m]

This will enable the community to help you better.

Few more things,

  • Please post error messages from the front end (CLC), CC and NC logs. Logs are stored in $EUCALYPTUS/var/log/eucalyptus. It is hard, if not impossible to debug problems without logs (cloud-error.log, cloud-debug.log, cloud-output.log, cc.log, nc.log,...).
