Hi all,
Well I've had my cloud up and running relatively problem free for the last couple of months, and so far it's been a blast. Occasionally, I'd notice when I'd run euca-describe-volumes, nothing would show up. It wouldn't effect my currently running instances, but I couldn't create a new volume or attach a volume to an instance when this would happen. Generally, I could just reboot my storage controller and everything would work just fine again.

All of a sudden last night, it happened again, but no matter how much I reboot, my volumes can't be described. However, when I get on my storage controller and check the eucalyptus/volumes directory, they are all still there. I can also check the eucalyptus-storage.scripts on my cloud controller and everything looks good there too.

Has anyone experienced this? Any ideas on how to fix it?

Thanks.

problem was resolved?

Hi,

If I am not wrong the problem was solved as per the following link:

http://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-1684948.html

from the ubuntu forums. Let us know if you still face the issue. In that case we would need couple of information like the eucalyptus environment details, logs like cloud-error.log, cloud-debug.log, cc.log.

Cheers,
Deependra
