Ijust want to get information about user name and which instances this user are run... to known about it is comand ec2-describe-instances but me need get informtion in java program so from where i can get it?

Hello,

user accounting information is not currently exposed programatically (this is not part of the EC2 API).

i just want to known how many resourse used user.. about instances i can get information from libvit but me need information about user.. so what can you advanced for me?

Can you be more precise? Which resources are you interested in? Are you looking for current state or past information for auditing/accounting?

In general, the ability to basically do a "doDescribe..." for all users (or any specific user) would be great. Is there anything on the roadmap for exposing accounting information via (any) API?

Hi,

I've wondered there are any update for this issue since this post is about two years ago. I'm looking for something that I can retrieve user's email address and full name via APIs. Hope to hearing any news.
