The Eucalyptus team would like to announce the public availability of
a new release candidate (1.4rc3) for the next version of Eucalyptus
(v1.4). There were several issues from (1.4rc2) that have been
resolved. Most notably, (1.4rc3) includes fixes that resolves compatibility issues with the newest Amazon API tools. See the 'INSTALL' file included with each RC to get the latest supported versions of the API and AMI tools.

REMINDER The RCs are intended for beta testers who are willing to try
out the software that has not been fully tested or properly
documented. In addition, we do not support installation upgrades for
the RCs. That is, an RC SHOULD NOT be used to upgrade a functioning
Eucalyptus installation -- any system-maintained meta-data (including
user accounts and state) will be reset by an RC and cannot be
retrieved.
