hi, everyone,
I have a community account but can't access link "https://ecc.eucalyptus.com" to get a community cloud account.
what should I do now? please!

Hello,

I'm not sure I understood the problem: if you have an account already, why do you need another one? Have you followed our user guide? If you have your credentials you should now get the euca2ools.

can't open "https://ecc.eucalyptus.com:8443/"

Thanks for your reply. But you did not understood my problem. My problem is I want to testdrive the Commmunity Could but I can not open https://ecc.eucalyptus.com:8443/ seccessfully. My browser 's status bar show that it is wating for a URL , and did not display the login UI.

Hello,

I just tested from 2 different places and I can get to the login page: are you sure it's not a local problem you have? Do you have internet access from the machine you are trying to use? Are you using an http proxy?

I'm unable to open

I'm unable to open https://ecc.eucalyptus.com:8443/ for the last 8 hours. Every time after 2-3 minutes I get: "Error! Internal error (2): " in my browser. Is it down? When it will be available?

Use port 8443

On page http://open.eucalyptus.com/CommunityCloud link is wrong :8443 is missing after it.

use: https://ecc.eucalyptus.com:8443

we do have an iptable rules to handle the redirection, but for whatever reason was cleared. It should work now.

Cannot sign up for the Eucalyptus Community Cloud

I cannot sign up for the Eucalyptus Community Cloud. When I try to open https://ecc.eucalyptus.com/, my web browser (Firefox) reports an error with the following text:

Secure Connection Failed
An error occurred during a connection to ecc.eucalyptus.com.
SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length.
(Error code: ssl_error_rx_record_too_long)...

I have also tried opening https://ecc.eucalyptus.com:8443/, but then the browser loads the page for quite a long time and finally shows an error with the following text:

HTTP ERROR 500
Problem accessing /. Reason:
/tmp/Jetty_0_0_0_0_8443_root.war____yo2vi4/webapp/index.html (Too many open files)
Caused by:
java.io.FileNotFoundException: /tmp/Jetty_0_0_0_0_8443_root.war____yo2vi4/webapp/index.html (Too many open files)
at java.io.FileInputStream.open(Native Method)
at java.io.FileInputStream.(FileInputStream.java:137)...

I have tried some other browsers (Internet Explorer and Lynx) but I have similar problems with them.

UPDATE: I have now been able to open the latter URL and apply for an account.
