Last week I was able to launch test machines (using existing images) in the ECC. Starting last Friday, every time I launch an image, it goes from pending to shutting down without starting. I was hoping to demonstrate this to some people next week. Any suggestions?

Note: I am able to create volumes, but not launch images.

instance not starting

I am having the same problem now. The instance goes from "pending" to "shutting down".

Still not starting new images

Has anyone looked at this? or does anyone know who to contact about this happening?

I am experiencing the same;

I am experiencing the same; just started testing ecc some days ago and ran a sample registered instance successfully, but since 2 days ago I can't start them, any instance (either mine or from others) go from pending to not running.

Back to it again

It was fine until 3 days ago, then it stopped working again. In the prior week, an image continued to run (did not self terminate) for several days. This morning it is giving me a message reading:

Not enough resources available: addresses (try --addressing private)

Any suggestions?

This issue appearing again

My instances have been in Pending State for a long time in ECC. Any pointers will be immesely helpful

I don't see any instance in pending state at the moment: which instance ID do you refer to and which EMI are you using?

I terminated the pending instances

Hi,
I terminated the pending instances yday. That could be the reason why you did not see any pending instances. Today I tried lauching instances and faced a new error (In this thread -http://open.eucalyptus.com/forum/newbie )
